Gail Lahm
Assistant Coach, Youth and Learn-to-Row Programs
Gail has been coaching for 11 years and rowing for 14 years. She has competed often as a rower and as a coxswain, earning third place at the Head of the Charles in the Women's Masters 4+. In addition to her coaching duties at PRRA, Gail is the Head Women's Coach for Belleville High School. She holds a Level II coaching certification from the United States Rowing Association.
Jeff Lahm
Assistant Coach, Learn-to-Row and Youth Programs
Jeff has been coaching for 7 years and rowing for 12 years. He has competed in many head races and Masters sprints, winning a gold medal at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta. Jeff is the Head Men's Coach at Belleville High School and has coached a novice four to gold at the New Jersey State Rowing Championships. In addition to his regular coaching duties, Jeff offers private sculling lessons to members of the Community and Recreational Rowing Programs. Jeff holds a Level II coaching certification from the United States Rowing Association.
JJ Nesheiwat
Assistant Coach, Youth Programs
JJ was a rowing coach at Saint Peter's Prep during its first season on the water. He is a graduate of Fairfield University in Connecticut, where he rowed competitively for the Stags in both sprints and head racing.
Ahmed Darwish
Assistant Coach, Youth Programs
Ahmed has been rowing for 11 years. He rowed competitively for Belleville High School and then briefly for the University of Southern California, where he completed his undergraduate studies. He is the assistant men's coach at Belleville High School, where he has coached the novice boys for the past three years. During that time, he coached a Novice 4+ to gold at the Garden State Championships, and a Freshman 4+ to silver and a Novice 4+ to bronze at the Philadelphia City Championships. He is currently in the process of completing his US Rowing Level II Coaching Certification.
Rachael Donnelly
Assistant Coach, Youth Programs
Rachael has been rowing for 8 years. She rowed all four years at Ridgewood High, where she was Crew Captain in her junior and senior years. She went on to row for George Mason University, where she stroked the Varsity 8+ to first place at the CAA championships in 2006. Rachael has been a coach at Nereid Boat Club for learn-to-row and novice programs. She has also coached the Bishop Eustace freshmen, leading them to Nationals in 2009. She has a Level I coaching certificate from United States Rowing.
