Fall Competitive Youth Program

This program is for experienced youth rowers interested in competing in head races. Head races range from two to four miles in length and are a great way to build stamina and a mileage base in preparation for the spring sprint season. Potential races include: Head of the Hudson (Albany, NY); Head of the Passaic (Lyndhurst, NJ); and Head of the Fish (Saratoga, NY). Participants will be responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from regattas. Race and trailer fees are not included in the program fee, and will need to be paid prior to registration for regattas.

The program begins on Wednesday, September 18th, and runs through the end of October. The program fee is $200 per rower. Those who took part in PRRA's 2010 summer youth program receive a $50 discount. There is no charge for coxswains.

Registration: Saturday, September 11, from 10am to noon at the PRRA boathouse.

Practice schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

We encourage you to distribute our printable flyer.
