National Learn-To-Row Day
We will be hosting National Learn-To-Row Day Saturday June 1, 2024 9-11 AM at our club! Free to all over the age of 11. You will have a chance to learn :
– Basic boat handling on land
– Stroke technique on the rowing machine
– Getting into a boat and taking strokes on the water!

We recommend bringing a few items to make the experience the best it can be! Be sure to bring:
- Hat (cap or bucket hat)
- Sunscreen
- Water
- Light snack
- Wear form fitting clothing (nothing too baggy)
We offer Adult and Youth Learn-to-Row sessions. This is a great way to experience rowing for the first time. We offer weeknight and weekend sessions. Below are the sessions we have available this year. You will be directed to Regatta Central which is where you can register.
- Participants will take part in:
- 8 hours of coached instruction
- Spread over the course of 3 days
- Instruction will consist of indoor, land, and water-based training.
- All participants who complete the full Learn-to-Row course will receive 50% off their first year of Base Membership, and will be eligible to upgrade to Recreational Masters in their first year with coaches approval.
